Shortly after 9 p.m. Friday night a Chantilly man died in a car accident on Gum Spring Road, according to a Loudoun County Sheriff's press release.

The Sheriff's Office said Mark L. Fleshner, 47, was traveling southbound on Gum Spring Road, just north of Ticonderoga Road, when he lost control of the 1998 Lincoln Navigator he was driving.

A preliminary investigation reveals Fleshner left the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and came back onto the roadway where the SUV rolled several times. Fleshner was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

Flshner was taken to the Lansdowne Campus of INOVA Loudoun Hospital where he lost his life.
